SAE Institute London is on the move to our new location in Kingsland Road, Hackney. Our new location makes SAE Instute London the largest media school in Europe. Located on seven floors of a new building, SAE Institute House. Our facilities include state of the art studios and post production rooms in all. Our facilities include the latest generation Neve Genesys console, SSL console(s), digidesign console(s), Yamaha, Tascam, TL Audio, Mackie and others, in all 20 studio rooms, classrooms and lecture theater equipped with a full 24 track demo studio. We are still on schedule to open mid August - provided we get power from our friendly London power supply company! At least our logos have gone up on the building. Relative News

SAE and Qantm, have just announced a $1.5 million national scholarship program with a combined value of $1.5 million. The SAE/Qantm Scholarship Program will provide 180 part scholarships, covering 50 per cent of tuition fees, and nine full scholarships, covering 100 per cent of tuition fees, over the next 12 months across Australia. Tom Misner, SAE Institute Chairman and Founder said, "The launch of this scholarship program, and having the opportunity to reach out and make a meaningful contribution to the community, is one of my proudest moments since founding the college over 30 years ago. We are very pleased to be able to offer this opportunity to students that may otherwise have difficulty accessing such higher education, and to encourage Australia's talented young people to pursue their ambitions in the expanding creative media industry." The SAE Alumni Association has launched the submission period for the 4th SAE Alumni Awards. As in previous years, the winner in each category can look forward to desirable prizes, e.g. a brand-new Apple iMac and a cash prize of â?¬3000. The competition is open to submissions for the following five award categories: Music Production, Multimedia, Short Film, 3D FX/Animation, and "Creativity First". SAE Institute has just been honoured with the prestigious "Sound and Stage Award for Services to the Industry" award, which took place at a gala dinner last night. The event played host to more than 250 of the region?s top industry professionals. The inaugural Sound & Stage Awards, an ITP Publishing company, was staged at the Al Murooj Rotana Hotel in Dubai April 29, recognizing the efforts of individuals and organisations playing an influential role in shaping the development of professional audio, lighting, AV integration and live events production industries in the Middle East region. The evening marked the foundation of Sound and Stage Magazine's awards night, a staunch commitment to support the ongoing development of the industry in the region, as well as recognise significant professional and commercial endeavours. SAE Cape Town is up and running! Based in the heart of Cape Town central business district, our first campus on the Southern tip of Africa will supply our students with the same state-of-the-art equipment as used by industry professionals. In addition, SAE Cape Town is going the extra mile from the very outset by doing its active share in helping out those who would ordinarily not be able to afford our Diploma courses by offering 20 part (50%) scholarships. The first Diploma intake for Audio Engineering, Multimedia and Digital Animation will kick off in July, while other short courses as Electronic Music Production Certificate and the amazing Digital DJ Course will be available later on in 2008. The London campus of SAE Institute has recently announced the purchase of a brand new 7 story building in the heart of London. The new building will be home to the latest state-of-the-art facilities including 12 audio studios and 5 additional live rooms, professional HD video editing suites and a fully equipped green screen studio. In cooperation with Musikmesse and prolight & sound SAE officially presents the Musikmesse-Blog, a daily Videocast and expert lectures within the scope of Musikbiz Studio. The lectures will be available as live stream brought to you by make.tv.
