The Electro-Voice team recently visited Mexico and Colombia for two IRIS-Net software certification training sessions – presented for the first time in Spanish. The sessions were lead by George Georgallis, EV’s Senior Technical Support Applications Specialist, with translation by Nicolas Betancur, Inside Sales Engineer – Latin America, with assistance from sales managers Juan Montoya (Colombia) and Ernesto Montanez (Mexico). Shuttlesound is in the final stages of one of its largest hotel installations, the audio component of a complete integrated hotel-wide AV system for the latest opening in the Grange Hotels chain, the Grange St Paul’s Hotel in the city of London. The project has demanded over 1/4 million GBP of Electro-Voice professional sound reinforcement products, including an extensive networked audio solution and two complete line-array systems for the main conference facilities, installed and programmed by Kingdom Services. Effective immediately, Venuetech LLC becomes an Electro-Voice distributor for the U.A.E. In parallel, the existing partner, NMK Electronics Ent., will continue to market the products until mid of April 2010.
