We are proud to announce that djay is featured among the year’s best apps in App Store Rewind 2011 and Best of Mac App Store 2011, an annual collection of the year’s best apps as chosen by Apple’s App Store editorial team. djay for iPad was selected as the “iPad App of the Year” in Germany, UK, France, and many other countries. In the US App Store, djay for iPad was the first runner-up for the “iPad App of the Year”. The newly released djay for Mac is the runner-up for the “App of the Year” worldwide in Best of Mac App Store 2011. And finally, we’re thrilled that djay for iPhone is the first runner-up for “iPhone App of the Year” in Japan, and is listed among the notable iPhone music apps of 2011 in the US. Thank you for the overwhelming feedback since we launched djay 4.0! Today we released djay for Mac 4.0.2, a free update for existing users of djay 4. We’ve been hard at work addressing a variety of reported issues and requests to bring you a rock solid update with significant performance boosts and stability improvements. In addition, the update brings you native support for the new Vestax VCI-400 controller as well as enhanced support for the all-new djay Remote 2.0 for iPhone (available on the App Store). The update brings you support for two great new accessories created exclusively for djay: The Numark iDJ Live controller featuring two large jog wheels for a stunning DJ performance, and the Griffin DJ Cable for seamless pre-cueing with headphones.
