via YuSynth on electro-music.com:"I now propose an improved design of the yusynth ADSR.The changes are : Now the input stage is a discrete Schmitt trigger. As such any signal (this means not necessarily a regular GATE signal) can be used to trigger the ADSR as soon as its level goes above 2V. The input impedance is now very high which makes it possible to feed more than four ADSR on the Relative News

via this auction"The ADSR-VC2 is a dual envelope generator with two identical, independent ADSR units which can be both triggered simultaneously by one single trigger due to a normalized jack. All parameters (attack, decay, sustain release and the output level) can be voltage controlled. As audio engineers we deal with ADSR everyday, even without knowing it. I certainly didn’t know what ADSR was when I first heard it, but it’s the acronym for what happens with every waveform. Put simply, ADSR refers to Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release. Depending on what you are working with, these names mean relatively different things. The release of a waveform is different than the release of a compressor, but they do somehow all refer to a similar thing. In the following article I’m going to go through the details of each of these parameters. What does slow attack mean and what does sustain sound like? Hopefully, by reading this tutorial you understand these widely used names and know how to use them to your advantage. Image by: John Federico The Complete Waveform The waveform of a signal comprises these four elements. The attack is the first part until the highest volume of a specific sound, then the signal decays until it sustains. How long it sustains depends... Relative News

via AMSynths"This module is a Dual ADSR similar to the envelope generators in the Roland 700 and 100M modular analog synthesizers. The AM8705 contains two identical traditional ADSR format envelope generators with variable Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release.
